Dr. Manmohan Singh was the most important person in the history of Indian politics. He was the Prime Minister of India before Narendra Modi in the Congress-elected government. However, at the age of 92, Manmohan Singh left for his heavenly abode on December 26, 2024. His sudden demise had brought tears in the eyes of his countrymen, who always remembered his yogdaan for the independent India.

For the unversed, Manmohan Singh was admitted to the AIIMS hospital in Delhi after his health condition deteriorated. It was Congress leader, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s husband, Robert Vadra expressed his condolences. He wrote in a post on X:
“I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh ji. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Thank you for your service to our Nation. You will always be remembered for your Economic revolution and the progressive changes, you brought to the country.”
