Famous French-Iranian author, Marjane Satrapi passed away on the night of June 3, 2026. The 56-year-old Rapher novelist and film director, Marjane, passed away a year after her husband’s death. The family revealed that she has been dealing with pain in her heart after her husband, Mattias Ripa’s death.
Marjane Satrapi’s cause of death revealed
Once in a lifetime, we come across a love that is so great that everything becomes meaningless after they leave. And it seems like Marjane has been through the same journey, as the passing of her husband left a deep void in her heart. A member of her close circle told AFP in a statement that Marjane passed away due to sadness caused over a year after the death of her husband. She was quoted as saying:
“Marjane Satrapi died of sadness a little over a year after the death of Mattias Ripa, her husband and the love of her life.”
