
Euphoria fans are just stunned as the show has just turned into a violent, Quentin Tarantino-style crime thriller in the third season by the killing of one of the main characters, ‘Nate Jacobs’, played by Jacob Elordi. ‘Nate Jacobs’ has been one of the major characters in Euphoria, and in the 7th episode of the third season, he was seen inside a coffin, which was done from a revenge motive by a local businessman, ‘Naz’.
‘Nate’s wife, ‘Cassie’, was asked for USD 1 million within 72 hours to save him, and oxygen supply was being provided through a pipe. The plan unravels when a snake enters through the pipe and finally bites ‘Nate’. In the scene ‘Cassie’, along with ‘Maddy’ dug up the coffin, wherein they found him in a ‘horrific’ situation with a snake rattling on his severely wounded body. Jacob Elordi details ‘Nate Jacobs’s death’ in Euphoria
In a post-show recap with HBO, Jacob Elordi spoke about filming the claustrophobic scene. He said that ‘Nate’ is someone who had many dark choices throughout the show, and thus, the final scene was kind of a cool way to let go. While the scene left the viewers feeling claustrophobic, Jacob Elordi felt very peaceful inside a coffin. He further added that his shoulders were touching the side and they couldn’t move.
