Nikkhil Advani is best known for directing Kal Ho Naa Ho, and Salaam-E-Ishq to name a few. He has made many movies with Salman, Shah Rukh Khan, and Akshay Kumar. However, now the director revealed that he would not like to make a movie with Khan or any superstar because fans of these stars expect huge box office numbers. Nikkhil revealed he cannot work under this pressure. He would love to produce a movie but not direct the same.
Nikkhil Advani does not want to make a film with Salman or Shah Rukh Khan
During an interview with the Lehren Retro, Nikkhil, when asked about making another movie after Salaam-E-Ishq with Salman, said something interesting. Nikkhil said that he does not want to make a film with Salman. He shared that he thinks himself to be lucky to be able to choose people he wants to work with professionally. In his words:
“I tell everyone, John, Akshay… that I don’t know how to make a film that makes Rs 600-800 crore. Actors like Shah Rukh, Salman, Akshay and Ajay Devgn “have become so big that it is unheard for them not to satisfy their fan base without those numbers. They have to hit those numbers.”
