Nita Ambani stunned in a Jamdani saree
For the Summit, Nita Ambani draped herself in a cream-coloured Jamdani saree. It was a piece of Bengal’s textile heritage, featuring tribal motifs. Decked in an intricate meenakari work, the saree was woven over two years by Padma Shri awardee Biren Kumar Basak in Phulia, West Bengal. The six yards of pure grace had fish borders and an elaborate pallu with details of ceremonial scenes, human forms, animals, and foliage.
