Noah Brown opened up about the search efforts and the discovery of his late brother, Matt Brown’s remains. According to reports, the team had been searching for Matt for a couple of days, and he had been in constant contact with the two non-profit teams looking for him. He shared that one of the smaller local teams decided to join the search on Saturday, May 30, 2026 (ET), and texted him around 3:30 PM to say they had found Matt. He was quoted as saying:
“For the past couple of days, I’ve been communicating back and forth with the different search teams. There were two separate search teams that would look for him. They were nonprofits, and we’re all communicating. One of the smaller, more local teams decided to go out yesterday, and I think it was about 3:20-something, 3:27, 3:28, something like that — they texted me and told me they had found him. So I rushed down to the spot.”
