Priyanka Chopra Jonas joined the sets of her upcoming film #SSMB29 (tentatively titled) with SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu in Odisha on Tuesday afternoon. The actress is put up at a hotel in Semiliguda, and videos of fans gathered outside her hotel are being circulated online. Enroute the shooting spot, she seems to be loving Odisha’s natural beauty. Priyanka posted a video taken in Kotpad, posted pictures of trees and videos of the scenic views.
After posing for a selfie with air hostesses upon landing in Odisha on Monday, Priyanka Chopra Jonas joined the sets of her upcoming film #SSMB29 (tentatively titled) with SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu on Tuesday afternoon. According to sources, Priyanka is put up at a hotel in Semiliguda (around 40 kms from the shooting location, Deomali). Photos and videos of the actress from her hotel are being circulated online. While leaving the film sets of SSMB29 from the hotel premises (in Semiliguda) on Tuesday, the actress waved at scores of fans who had gathered outside in large numbers to get a glimpse of the global star. Priyanka will have to travel more than an hour to reach the venue where scenes will be shot on her, Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Enjoying Odisha’s picturesque locations
Priyanka’s social media activity has triggered a lot of excitement among fans. She chronicled her journey to Odisha on Instagram, including giving fans a sneak peek out of an airplane window capturing the aerial view. Enroute the shooting spot, she seems to be loving Odisha’s natural beauty as the actress has been sharing photos of them. The actress posted a video taken in Kotpad, posted pictures of trees and videos of the scenic views as she was soaking in on the way to the shoot.
Security Beefed Up
According to reports, the state government has beefed up the security after clips and videos from the location have been leaked. Additional security forces have been deployed to control the crowd and trespassing. Rajamouli is filming scenes in the picturesque hills of the Deomali – the highest peak in Odisha. It is in the middle of tribal land, with many tribes inhabiting the mountain villages. Rajamaouli feels the beautiful mountains and sloping forests in the Eastern Ghats of India resemble that of an African forest where his plot is primarily set.
