Indian Idol season 3 winner, Prashant Tamang tragically passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 43, leaving his huge fan following heartbroken. For those who do not know, Prashant had tried his luck in acting. He had appeared in the show, Pataal Lok season 2 and he was also a part of the upcoming film, Battle Of Galwan. Well, now the mortal remains of Prashant Tamang have reached his hometown.
Prashant Tamang’s mortal remains reached Bagdogra Airport
On the morning of January 12, 2026, the mortal remains of singer-actor, Prashant Tamang were brought to Bagdogra Airport in Siliguri. For the unversed, Prashant passed away in New Delhi. If reports are to be believed, preparations are being arranged for Prashant’s mortal remains to reach Darjeeling. Reportedly, an IndiGo flight carrying his body departed from Delhi early in the morning and landed at Bagdogra.
