On Vickey Lalwani’s podcast, Gautami Kapoor was asked about her IG post, which was said to be a dig at Ekta Kapoor’s jibe at Ram Kapoor’s weight loss. Talking about this, Gautami revealed Ram Kapoor’s reaction to this. She said that her husband was not at home when she dropped the video, and when he came back, he was inundated with a lot of messages. Gautami mentioned that her husband told her that although it’s good for her, she should not drag him into this. She stated that there was nothing to the video she shared and that her husband shouldn’t be dragged into this. Sharing that people are glorifying this a lot, Gautami said:
“Fortunately, for his sake, he was not here. When he came back, he was inundated with thousands of messages from all over the world. Then he saw it obviously, and he was like, ‘Good for you. Don’t drag me in the middle of this because this is between you, Ektaa and social media. Don’t drag me into this’. There is no need to drag him into this. There is nothing to it.
