Ranbir Kapoor could star in a James Bond film
As per reports doing the rounds on social media, Ranbir Kapoor is in talks to star in Michael Bay’s James Bond movie. The speculated film also features actress Ana De Armas, who featured as Bond girl Paloma in the 2021 film No Time to Die. The film marked Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007. The post also mentions that shooting for the film is expected to begin in June 2025. Its cast also includes A-listers like Chiwetel Ejiofor.

So far, there is no confirmation about the project or Ranbir’s involvement. Neither Ranbir Kapoor nor Michael Bay’s teams have given a confirmation. It remains to be seen if there is any truth to the rumours.
As far as the fate of the James Bond franchise is concerned, we know that the studio behind the films is set to cast the youngest 007 in a prequel. A recent report on the Sun suggests that the film will be set in the ‘50s or ‘60s. This will be a landmark casting decision following Daniel Craig’s exit from the franchise, as his character died in No Time to Die.

He is also attached to star in the second installment of Brahmastra. In a recent press meet, Ranbir shared that the film is definitely happening.
