After Dhurandhar, Ranveer Singh is reportedly gearing up for another ambitious project. As per a report by Pinkvilla, the actor has acquired the rights to The Immortals of Meluha by Amish Tripathi under his production banner, Maa Kasam Film. The production banner is set to partner with Birla Studios for a mythological trilogy.

Will Ranveer take up a role in the trilogy? As per the report, the actor is scheduled to play the role of Lord Shiva. “The director will only be locked once the script work reaches a certain stage. Right now, the focus is entirely on developing the material,” the report further adds.
On the professional front, Ranveer is also collaborating with Aditya Dhar again. Moreover, he will star in Pralay, directed by Jay Mehta. The shooting for the same is scheduled to begin in August 2026.

On the actor’s personal front, he is expecting his second child with Deepika Padukone. The two announced the same with a heartfelt post on social media. Their first child, daughter Dua, was born in September 2024. Ranveer was also seen carrying out “dad duties” while Deepika was finishing off with her scenes in Shah Rukh Khan’s King. The hearty videos, where Ranveer is seen playing with Dua on the sets of King, have gone viral on social media.
