Rashmika Mandanna is currently hard at work filming for her upcoming horror-comedy film Thama alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. The film, which is slated for release later this year, has kept Rashmika busy with its shooting schedule. The actress has been sharing glimpses of the journey on her social media handle.
Yesterday, Rashmika Mandanna posted a photo from Thama’s night shoot, featuring director Aditya Sarpotdar. He can be seen sitting on a chair, looking at a monitor. She wrote, “My director… making me shoot night shoots every time… Ice bucket… Story of my life.” Resharing the photo, Aditya replied, “Where mortals fear the night, the vampires find their power.” Rashmika responded with, “Wise words. Knows exactly how to make a Thama (vampire) happy!”

Earlier, Ayushmann Khurrana also shared behind-the-scenes glimpses from the sets of Thama. He dropped a video of himself watching the India vs New Zealand match during the ICC Champion Trophy finals. The actor was hooked during the match’s final moments leading up to India’s historic win. He captioned the video, “Shoot ruk jaati hai jab India jeet jaata hai!”. In another post, Ayushmann shared a picture of himself watching the match on his way to the shoot. He wrote, “Shoot pe jaa raha hoon! Mera match dekhna nahi rukna chahiye.”

Thama has been garnering buzz ever since its announcement. The film is the latest addition to Maddock’s horror-comedy universe which includes Stree, Bhediya and Munjya. The upcoming film will introduce vampires to the cinematic universe.
