Kennedy Jr., including his personal struggles, past drug addiction and inner conflicts. The book also delves into the doomed marriage of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and his second wife, Mary Richardson Kennedy, who committed suicide on May 16, 2012.

According to a report by People, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. fell deeply in love with Mary Richardson in 1993. At the time, he was married to Emily Black, his first wife. However, when the American politician got to know that Mary was pregnant with his child, he arranged for a quick divorce from his first wife, Emily Black. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. tied the knot with Mary on April 15, 1994. Isabel Vincent, the investigative journalist, was given access to several private diaries of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. following Mary’s untimely death in 2012. In his private diary, the American politician mentioned that although he had a beautiful wife, kids, loving family, money, good health and a job, he was always seeking something more. He wrote:
“I’ve been given everything that any person could wish for: A beautiful wife and kids and loving family, wealth, education and good health and job I love. And yet I’m always on the lookout for something I can’t have to wreck it all. No matter how much I have, I want more!”
