The much-awaited Telugu film Thandel is all set to hit theatres on February 7, 2025, just ahead of Valentine’s Week. Starring Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya, the movie’s trailer was launched with a grand event in Mumbai on January 31. Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan even made a special appearance. However, Sai Pallavi couldn’t attend due to health issues.
Director Chandoo Mondeti shared that Sai had been traveling non-stop for promotional events and ended up with a fever. “The doctor has advised her to rest for at least two days,” he explained.
A source added, “She was supposed to be at the event but, unfortunately, couldn’t make it because of her illness.”
Thandel, inspired by true events from the village of D Matchilesam in Andhra Pradesh, is produced by Bunny Vasu under Geetha Arts and presented by Allu Aravind.
