As per the initial reports, the attacker, who was from Bangladesh, started fighting with Saif after he confronted him, and in the process, the actor got hurt, which left him with six wounds, two of them being major. The actor had to go through several surgeries, and he was discharged after six days. After being discharged, Saif was seen as stable, and he also recorded his statement. As per a report by Moneycontrol, the investigators may consider taking a joint statement from Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan as the discrepancies in statements ended up raising questions. Reportedly, Saif Ali Khan has revealed in this statement that he and Kareena heard the screaming of Jeh’s nanny in the 11th floor, and rushed to the scene, where he tried to stop the attacker so that the little one and his nanny could slip past.
