Salman explained his typical daily routine, saying, “Some people start working at 6 am; I start around 11:30-12 because I’ve got a lot of other work to do, like signing a lot of papers, making calls, and working out.” He shared that after handling his other commitments, he likes to take a moment to relax with a coffee and understand his scenes before heading to the set. Once he’s on set, though, he’s fully focused on the work. He rarely spends time in his vanity van and remains engaged throughout the shoot. His co-star from Sikandar, Rashmika Mandanna, also backed him up, sharing how she’s seen his dedication up close.
Salman also addressed the misconceptions about his work ethic, acknowledging that some friends describe his relaxed nature as a compliment but noting that it may unintentionally give the wrong impression. He explained, “A lot of hard work goes behind the scenes, even if it isn’t always visible.” Salman also mentioned that, coming from a family of writers, he spends a lot of time thinking through the scenes and emotions, ensuring that his performances are thoughtful and genuine.

Rashmika, who stars alongside Salman in Sikandar, shared her own experience. Before working with him, she had heard various rumours about his work ethic, but she decided to judge for herself. After working with him, she was impressed by his consistency and presence on set every day. She pointed out how different the reality was from what she had heard, questioning why people focused so much on his work habits when the truth was much more positive.
