Salman Khan’s highly-anticipated film Sikandar did not live up to the expectations of the audience. Amid this, we are getting to know that the superstar is planning to bounce back with the sequel of his 2015 hit film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
As per sources, the actor met screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad a couple of days ago to have a discussion about Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. The source told Pinkvilla, “They have come up with an idea, and discussions are on that could be for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2.”
It is also being reported that Kabir Khan, who directed the 2015 film, is on board for the sequel. Talking about the same, the source added, “The trio is coming together.” Some time back, the RRR writer confirmed that the script for Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 is ready, and he needs to find some time to narrate it to Salman Khan. He was quoted as saying, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 script is ready. I need to find some time to narrate it to Salman Bhai, the hero. Then we will see what happens next.”

About Bajrangi Bhaijaan
Directed by Kabir Khan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan stars Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and debutant Harshaali Malhotra. It follows the story of a six-year-old mute Pakistani girl, Shahida, who gets separated from her mother on their way back to Pakistan from Delhi. She bumps into Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi (played by Khan), who makes it his life’s mission to ensure the girl reaches her home safely. The film was a superhit on its release and was one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2015. It got nominated in four categories at the Filmfare Awards including the Best Story, Best Film, Best Director and Best Actor in a Leading Role. Bajrangi Bhaijaan won the Best Story award as well.
