Recently, Salman Khan officially teamed up with Tollywood director Vamsi Paidipally for a high-octane entertainer. The film is scheduled for an Eid 2027 release.
Nayanthara officially joins the party
In a video clip released today from the sets of the untitled film, Nayanthara is seen joining the cast. The Lady Superstar is collaborating on this project after recently producing her husband Vignesh Shivan’s Love Insurance Kompany. Dil Raju is presenting the film under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, which has produced 62 films so far (a couple of them are yet to be released). This Bollywood project will be the banner’s 63rd film.
Eid release window is long-term thinking
Salman Khan, taking to social media, addressed the hype with his trademark wit. He didn’t just reveal the release date; he invited fans to share in his anticipation. He hinted that long-term thinking led to the choice of the Eid window. The superstar urged everyone to remain patient. He jokingly mentioned that he is in the same boat as his audience, waiting for the right moment to unveil more. It was a narrative tease suggesting that something massive is brewing behind the scenes.

He continues to focus on large-scale spectacles that cater to the masses. Meanwhile, Vamsi Paidipally is coming off the success of Varisu, which starred Thalapathy Vijay. That film was a commercial hit in Tamil, proving Vamsi’s ability to handle top-tier stars and family emotions. His previous work, Maharshi, also won critical acclaim and a National Award. For years, Vamsi had planned to collaborate with a Bollywood star. In about a year, his dream will become a box office reality.
