Sam Asghari Reflects on ‘Weirdest’ Aspect of Relationship with Britney Spears

Bollywood Mascot: Sam Asghari, former husband of pop icon Britney Spears, has opened up about the most challenging aspect of their seven-year relationship. In a recent interview, Asghari described navigating Spears’ conservatorship as “the weirdest thing to deal with.”

Reflecting on their early days together, Asghari recalled his initial surprise upon learning about the conservatorship, which had been in place since 2008. He remarked, “That’s when I was like, ‘Wait a minute. I thought I’m in America. What do you mean?’” Asghari, who immigrated to the United States from Iran at the age of 12, found the concept of an adult requiring parental permission for decisions to be particularly perplexing.

Despite these challenges, Asghari emphasized his commitment to supporting Spears throughout their relationship. He stated, “One of the hardest things… is your parents and the people around you, and everybody that comes into your life that’s taken advantage – that damages you because those are the people that are closest to you.” Asghari expressed gratitude for the time they spent together, noting, “I’m always gonna be grateful and happy that it ever even happened.”
