Samantha Ruth Prabhu released the teaser of her upcoming film Subham on Sunday. A horror comedy, the film marks her debut as a producer. Written by Vasanth Mariganti, the film is directed by Praveen Kandregula. Since the genre of Subham belongs to horror-comedy, a genre that’s presently in vogue, many commented that the film will be promising.
On the auspicious occasion of Ugadi (Sunday), Samantha Ruth Prabhu gave the first glimpse of her first film as a producer. The actress released the teaser of Subham, a horror comedy coming from her production house Tralala moving pictures.
Filmmaker Nandini Reddy Elated
As soon as the teaser was released, fans of Samantha, her well-wishers and colleagues from the industry liked the post and sent their congratulatory messages to her Instagram. Since the genre of Subham belongs to horror-comedy, a genre that’s presently in vogue, many commented that the film will be promising. Among the first ones to like and comment on the teaser was Samantha’s Oh Baby director Nandini Reddy. “And so it begins … congratulations @samantharuthprabhuoff,” she posted with a fire emoji. While many commented that they are looking forward to the film, others expressed that the set up looks quite nice and interesting – exuding confidence that the film will do well at the box office. Meanwhile, Nandini Reddy is working on the script that stars Samantha. A breezy entertainer, Subham is their second collaboration after the blockbuster Oh Baby!

As the groom talks about his behavioural patterns, the bride switches on the TV, sits down and starts watching a famous soap opera. When the groom wanted to tell that it wasn’t the right time to watch such a Tv serial, she turns back in a ghostly way and says, “Shhh,” reinstating that the film is a horror comedy.
