The controversy began when a video went viral on Tuesday, showing a blue Betta fighter fish swimming inside a glass used to serve a cocktail.

Users described the experiment as inhumane” and cruel, criticizing the bar for prioritizing “Instagrammable” aesthetics over the welfare of a living creature.
