Selena Gomez recently shared an emotional video reacting to Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown. In the now-deleted Instagram clip, she broke down in tears, saying she felt heartbroken about families, especially children, being affected.
Speaking from home in a simple black outfit, she said, “I’m so sorry. My people are being hurt. I wish I could help, but I don’t know how. I’ll try my best, I promise.” She ended the video with a Mexican flag emoji.

Although Selena deleted the video, a fan page shared it on X. Many supported her, but some criticized her reaction.
In response, Selena posted a note saying, “I guess it’s not okay to show empathy for others.” Like her first post, she later deleted this message too.
