Kareena and Shahid, after their breakup, did settle down with their respective partners. They had given the most career-defining performance of their life with Jab We Met. The film gave the entire generation a pretty perspective on love and romance on and off screen. Talking about Jab We Met 2, Shahid, at IIFA Awards 2025, in an interview with Filmy Singh Simran said:
“Beta mei actor hu woh director hai. Director se pucho. But ya it is a fantastic film and if somebody comes up with the story then why not? There can always be a part 2.”
