Sharvari Says It Was a Dream to Be a Part of Sooraj Barjatyas Yeh Prem Mol Liya

Sooraj Barjatya, after winning the national award for best director for his 2022 film, Uunchai, is said to be back with a family entertainer this time. Yeh Prem Mol Liya is a film that will bring back Prem, Rajshri’s beloved character, to the screens after a span of 12 years. This very iconic role will be played by Ayushmann Khurrana, and starring beside him as the female lead will be Sharvari.

The makers of the film, on April 21, announced the title along with its release date. According to sources, the film is scheduled to release on November 27, 2026. Following this announcement, Bollywood actress Sharvari shared a sweet note, sharing her thoughts on the film. 

Recently, Sharvari took to her Instagram story and wrote, “The journey of ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’ – a very very special film has been filled with gratitude, blessings, positivity and all things amazing!! To be directed by Sooraj sir is my biggest dream come true! And sharing this journey alongside Ayushmann makes it even more special. Can’t wait for you all to experience this on 27th November 2026, in theatres!”

Meanwhile, this film will also mark the director Sooraj Barjatya’s reunion with Himesh Reshmmiya after a span of almost 12 years. Their last meetup was during the shooting of the film, ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ in 2014. The film’s soundtrack was a hit and became quite popular among the people. For Sooraj Barjatya, the element of ‘music’ has always played a key role in his movies. And, hence, with Himesh Reshmmiya giving the music for Yeh Prem Mol Liya, the expectations for a hit soundtrack is once again highly anticipated. 

Moreover, in a recent conversation with News18 Showsha, Ayushmann Khurrana also shared his thoughts about teaming up with Sooraj Barjatya and said, It was a part of my bucket list to work with sir. He’s a very noble man. I touch his feet whenever I meet him. He gives that kind of a vibe, and I want to give that energy back to him as a student of cinema. The best part is that he’s a master of cinema, but he still believes that he’s a student, which is really beautiful. He’s away from this circus around us.”
