Christine Brown reveals she is ex-husband, Kody Brown’s distant cousin
During the Sunday episode of TLC’s Sister Wives, Christine Brown made a revelation that shocked everyone. For the unversed, Christine, who grew up in a polygamist household, noted she is a distant cousin of Kody, to whom she was spiritually married from 1994 to 2021. During the show, she was seen talking to her current husband, David Woolley, as she explained:
“I knew growing up that I would have to marry a convert because I was literally related to everybody in the church. I did marry a convert, but I was still related to him, too. Yeah, I’m related to Kody. Third cousins once removed are fully legal. Fully. Polygamy is not legal. I’m a third cousin once removed from Kody.”
