The alleged love-triangle murder of 26-year-old Ketan Agarwal from Pune has taken a turn after police took in Sahil Goyal, brother of the prime accused, Siya Goyal, for questioning. On the ninth day of Ketan’s murder investigation, Lonavala Rural Police had an extensive questioning session with Sahil Goyal to understand more about his sister’s relationship with her alleged co-conspirator, Chetan Chaudhary, along with other aspects of the case, including his acquaintance with Chetan.
What Sahil Goyal has told the authorities during 10 hours of questioning
The authorities reportedly questioned Sahil for nearly 10 hours, with Siya’s whole family insisting they would never have forced her into marriage with Ketan. During the interrogation, Sahil reportedly told investigators that the family would have immediately cancelled the wedding if Siya had expressed any reluctance about marrying Ketan. However, despite her family’s repeated confirmation, Siya had allegedly agreed to marry Ketan. Sahil reportedly told the police:
“If Siya had said she didn’t like Ketan, we would have stopped the wedding.”
