
Saturday Night Live writer, Jimmy Fowlie’s sister, Christina, went missing four months back, and a missing person’s report was filed in December 2025 with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). While there was no update about the same from then, recently, on April 29, 2026, Jimmy took to his social media handle and shared a lengthy note to announce that his sister had passed away.
Currently, the case is being investigated as a homicide, as reported. Speaking of Jimmy, he is known for writing an SNL episode including, A Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter and others. Apart from that, he also penned and acted in a comedic web series, Go-Go Boy Interrupted. Jimmy Fowlie was also seen in comedy shows, including The Other Two, 2 Broke Girls, English Teacher, and The Goldbergs.

For the unversed, SNL writer, Fowlie, back in December 2025, shared a post, wherein he added that his sister, Christina, was last seen in the Koreatown area of Los Angeles, and they had interacted last in November 2025. Back then, Fowlie also revealed that his sister was active on social media till December 15, 2025, after which she went missing. Well, as per his latest statement on social media, LAPD recently informed them that Christina was found dead, and that the case has been transitioned from a missing person’s case to homicide. Fowlie, in his note, revealed that he and his family believe that his sister’s phone and social media were compromised before she went missing.
