Sridevi didn’t allow her daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, to watch her movies
Sridevi was a dynamite on screen but kept her personal life extremely private. The actress found joy in the simple acts of life and the company of those who were close to her. The actress also had a condition for her daughters, Janhvi and Khushi. In a recent interview with Vickey Lalwani, Sridevi’s younger daughter, Khushi, revealed that Sridevi was exceedingly shy in real life and wouldn’t allow her daughters to watch her films. Khushi shared that despite their mother’s request, they would secretly watch their mother’s movies. Talking about the same, Khushi Kapoor was quoted saying:
“She actually wouldn’t let us watch them (her movies) at home; it was a bit tough. She would just feel a bit shy. So, Janhvi and I would have to watch them secretly in a room by ourselves. Regardless, we did watch a lot of her movies.”
