Sunny Deol Reminds Randeep Hooda Vineet Singh The Power Of Dhai Kilo Ka Haath In Jaats Trailer

Sunny Deol immortalised the dialogue “Dhai kilo ka haath” in Damini, and more than three decades later, he’s back to remind everyone of its power with his latest film, Jaat. The recently released trailer offers a gripping glimpse into a brutal world where Deol’s character, Jaat, emerges as a fierce saviour.
The trailer opens with a man ploughing his field, tense music heightening the atmosphere. Suddenly, his plough strikes a human hand buried in the soil. The next shot reveals a truck loaded with bodies. When a female police officer arrives to investigate, the villagers hesitate to speak. However, a child breaks the silence, revealing that a ruthless figure named Ranatunga is behind the carnage.

Enter Randeep Hooda, the menacing villain of the film, accompanied by his sinister sidekick, played by Vineet Kumar Singh. Last seen in the role of a talented writer in Superboys of Malegaon, Vineet stuns with his chilling transformation. His eerie, crooked smile sends shivers down the spine. Together, the duo wreaks havoc, taking pride in their merciless brutality.

Then comes Jaat, the people’s saviour. Sunny Deol unleashes his fury, making it clear that he is the ultimate force of justice. The action-packed visuals showcase intense fight sequences, grand dialogues, and raw violence. Backed by production giants Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, the film promises high-octane entertainment with a pan-Indian appeal.

The trailer ends with Deol delivering a powerful line, “The North has seen the power of Dhai Kilo Ka Haath, now it’s time for the South to witness it,” solidifying the film’s cross-regional appeal.
Meanwhile, speaking about his role, Randeep Hooda once said that the character even shocked him while he was performing it. He shared, “I’ve played dark and layered characters before, but Ranatunga is pure evil. He’s violent, unhinged, and operates with a kind of brutality that even shocked me while performing it. Jaat is a film that dives into a world of raw, unapologetic crime, and my character sits at the centre of that storm. I think our director Gopichand Malineni was so very clear about how he envisioned this character, and I completely took on what he has imagined for this role”.

Jaat will hit the theatres on the occasion of Baisakhi on April 10, 2025. The movie is slated to release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. Saiyami Kher and Regina Cassandra also play key roles in the film.
