Taapsee Pannu reveals Shah Rukh Khan taught her that paid reviews are a ‘marketing strategy’
Recently, we stumbled upon a resurfaced interview clip on Reddit in which actress, Taapsee Pannu opened up about paid reviews as a ‘marketing strategy.’ She revealed that marketers would reach out to stars themselves to inform them about the cost ‘with GST’ for positive reviews. While this made the interviewer and Taapsee burst out laughing, what captured the attention of netizens was what she said next. The actress continued:
“But there is another way to look at it which I learnt from Shah Rukh sir. He says, what if you see them as a marketing tool? He says that 10-20 years ago hoardings were used to publicise your film, you used to buy them everywhere to display your picture.”
