After her special song, Aaj Ki Raat, in Stree 2 became a sensation, Tamannaah is all geared up to push her boundaries with a groundbreaking performance. The actress will be seen as a leading lady in her forthcoming film in Odela 2 – the much-anticipated sequel to the 2021 supernatural hit Odela Railway Station. Directed by Ashok Teja and produced by D Madhu under the Madhu Creations, the film has garnered a lot of hype for Tamannaah’s role and the plotline. The recently released teaser has further upped the expectations on the film.
The latest we hear is that Odela 2’s theatrical trailer will be launched in Mumbai on April 8 (Tuesday). The filmmakers will release the Telugu and Hindi versions of the trailers during the event. The entire cast and crew are expected to be part of the do.

Tamannaah’s role as Shiva Shakti Naga Sadhu has been the cynosure of all eyes. Her transformation has been inspiring and also brings authenticity to the role. She shot for the film without make-up. As part of her preparation for the character, Tamannaah reportedly gave up a non-vegetarian diet throughout the shooting and adopted a sattvic diet throughout. And in a noble gesture, the filmmakers too have not served non-vegetarian food on the sets while shooting for the film.
The film’s teaser launch took place at Kumbh Mela last month. The response was great, and the makers are hoping that the trailer would recreate similar magic. And with the release just around the corner, the promotional efforts for Odela 2 are set to intensify.
During the film’s promotional events earlier, director Ashok Teja stated that he had curated a supernatural thriller. The music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, who gained recognition for his work in Kantara. Soundarrajan S takes charge of the cinematography, while Rajeev Nair is the production designer.
