The 33-year-old was found deceased on May 12, 2026, in her marital home in Bhopal’s Katara Hills. The reason for Twisha Sharma’s death was reported as suicide, but her bereaved family strongly contested the narrative. They complained about severe dowry harassment, physical and mental torment by Twisha’s husband, Samarth Singh, and her in-laws. The suspicion deepened after Giribala Singh made controversial public remarks about Twisha’s character and mental health immediately after her death.
