Twisha Sharma, a 33-year-old professional model and actress, was found dead on May 12, 2026, at her marital home in Bhopal’s Katara Hills. The incident has shocked the entire nation. For the unversed, initially, Twisha’s death was said to be suicide. However, the family members made strong allegations against Twisha’s husband, Samarth Singh and her mother-in-law, Giribala Singh. The allegations included domestic, mental abuse, harassment over dowry, among others.
While a post-mortem already took place, Twisha Sharma’s family requested another test at AIIMS Delhi, and currently, the process is ongoing. To mention, Samarth Singh was arrested in Jabalpur after absconding for 10 days. Following his arrest, he was sent to a seven-day police remand by a Bhopal court. Currently, Samarth Singh and his mother, Giribala Singh, are being investigated.

If the reports are to be believed, the answers that Samarth Sharma has given to the officials have been unconvincing. Reportedly, Samarth accepted that some tension was already up in their marital life, and on April 17, 2026, when Twisha informed him about her pregnancy, things turned sour between them. He also reportedly talked about their argument over a trip, just before Twisha’s death. Reportedly, Samarth’s passport has been seized as of now.
