Vedang Raina’s personal life has been a major talking point for fans recently. His dating life caught everyone’s attention after he was said to be in a relationship with Khushi Kapoor. While neither Vedang nor Khushi ever confirmed their relationship, their joint vacations, celebrations and the actress flaunting ‘V’ jewellery were seen as hints by fans. However, it was recently reported that the two had broken up, leaving fans wondering about his current romantic life.
Setting the record straight in a recent chat with Hindustan Times, Vedang revealed his actual relationship status. He revealed that he is currently single. When opening up about what he looks for in a partner and what attracts him to someone, he said, “Kindness. There are other qualities too, but if you are not kind, everything else falls flat.”
Apart from his personal life, Vedang’s professional journey has also been making headlines. Vedang was recently seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaungaaa, with Sharvari. The film had an unusual trajectory at the box office, which disappointed him. Vedang admitted that he was upset when the film didn’t do well initially. He mentioned, “It was very shattering. And then the turnaround took place. I guess it makes this entire thing even more special. There is no other example where it happened like this. I regained my faith in the fact that good films will find an audience.”
Talking about the initial wave of responses and how the narrative shifted, he shared, “It’s been quite overwhelming. The first couple of days or three days were a lot to take in. There were a lot of things being said about the film, which is now being unanimously loved by critics and audiences. The screenings that we went for… I have never seen reactions like that, and I felt it had to amount to something.”
