The riots in Nagpur followed protests against Mughal Emperor, Aurangzeb’s tomb, and a curfew was imposed in the city. While Maharashtra Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis assured the situation was being handled, he also mentioned how the recent Bollywood blockbuster film, Chhaava had reignited people’s emotions against the Mughal emperor. Soon after his statement, X went ablaze with the actor, Vicky Kaushal and the film’s team being blamed for igniting the hateful war.
