Vijaya Gurunatha Sethupathi Kalimuthu, popularly known as Vijay Sethupathi, is hailed for portraying intense characters. Vijay started his career in films as a background actor with minor roles in several films. He landed a lead role in 2010 in the film, Thenmerku Paruvakaatru. Vijay rose to fame with his spectacular performances in films like Sundarapandian, Iraivi, Vikram Vedha, 96, Petta, Master, Jawan and Maharaja.
In 2019, Vijay played a trans woman in the film, Super Deluxe and won his first National Film Award. Despite being one of the most popular actors in the South, Vijay Sethupathi is loved by his fans for his humility. The actor keeps his personal life under wraps and is rarely spotted with his family publicly.
