Present were his father, SA Chandrasekhar, mom, Shoba, extended family members and rumoured love, Trisha Krishnan. Now, a video has surfaced on the social media, where Vijay’s dad, SA Chandrasekhar was seen crying seeing his son make him proud and remembered his financial struggles.

Vijay Thalapathy’s oath-taking ceremony was attended by an array of political leaders, movie personalities, and his close family members. However, it was Vijay’s dad, filmmaker and actor SA Chandrasekhar, who spoke to the media and revealed that he was proud that his son had become the CM of Tamil Nadu. However, he did remember the time when, as a filmmaker and actor, he struggled for food after his son was born in 1974. In an interview with ANI, SA Chandrasekhar shared:
“What more can I ask for? My son has fulfilled my dream. I got married in 1973 and he was born in 1974. When he was born, I was an Assistant Director and I struggled even for food. He remembered everything.”
