Kennedy John Victor, popularly known as Vikram, is one of the prominent actors of the South Indian film industry. Born into a Tamil-speaking family, Vikram is half Hindu and half Christian. The National Award-winning actor began his career working as a model in several advertisements before making his film debut in 1990 with the film, En Kadhal Kanmani.
After initial flops, Vikram gained widespread recognition with the film, Sethu. Vikram played the titular role ‘Chiyaan’ in the film, which later became a part of his name, and even now, he is popularly called ‘Chiyaan Vikram’. Sethu became a blockbuster, and since then, there has been no looking back for the actor, who proved his versatility with films like Dhill, Gemini, Dhool, Saamy, Anniyan, Raavanan, Iru Mugan, Ponniyin Selvan and many others.
