Aamir Khan recently paid a visit to singer Arijit Singh at his home in Jiaganj, West Bengal after the singer announced his retirement from playback singing. Aamir arrived in Kolkata on Sunday and was first seen keeping a low profile at the airport, trying to avoid photographers, before eventually acknowledging them with a smile and a wave.

From Kolkata, Aamir travelled straight by road to Jiaganj, choosing to keep the visit private until late Sunday night. According to reports, the actor made an effort to stay out of the spotlight, but videos of his arrival quickly found their way online, spreading fast and drawing attention from fans and locals in the area.
The following afternoon on Monday, February 2, Aamir was spotted on the rooftop of Arijit’s residence, which also functions as the singer’s personal studio near Shibtala Ghat. Clips circulating on social media showed the actor flying a kite along with members of his team, hinting that the moment was being filmed. The unexpected sight gathered curious onlookers on nearby rooftops, all hoping to catch a glimpse of the star.
Aamir’s visit came just days after Arijit announced his decision to step away from playback singing after a 15-year journey in the music industry. Over the years, the two have shared a strong professional bond, collaborating on several popular tracks such as Naina from Dangal, Tere Hawaale, Tur Kalleyan and Phir Na Aisi Raat Aayegi from Laal Singh Chaddha as well as Sar Aankhon Pe Mere from Sitaare Zameen Par.
