Ace Australian cricketer David Warner is all set to make his Telugu debut with the upcoming film Robinhood. Directed by Venky Kudumula, the film features Nithiin, Sreeleela, Vennela Kishore and more in key roles. Ahead of the film’s release, the cast got together for a special pre-release event in Hyderabad.
David Warner dances to Srivalli
David Warner, who has a cameo in Robinhood, wowed the crowd with his dance moves. The cricketer-turned-actor grooved to the hit track Srivalli from Pushpa: The Rise starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. He perfectly re-created the hook step and left audiences cheering.

David also joined the cast of Robinhood including Nithiin and Sreeleela as they danced to a song from Robinhood. They did the hook step of the track Adhi Dha Surprisu. The film’s makers also showed their appreciation for Warner by playing his clips from cricket matches with SunRisers Hyderabad over the years. Videos of the moment have now gone viral.

Interestingly, David is a fan of Telugu-language films. He often recreates reels from Telugu films along with his family. His interest in South films got him the part in Robinhood. While his role in the heist action comedy remains under wraps, it’ll be interesting to see him on screen.
About Robinhood
As the title suggests, Robinhood revolves around a skilled thief who carries out successful heists, stealing from the rich. Nithiin leads the film with Sreeleela playing his love interest. The trailer teases plenty of action and twists.
Robinhood also features Shine Tom Chacko, Vennela Kishore and Rajendra Prasad. The film will release in theatres on March 28, 2025.
