
Brighton residents were left in shock after three bodies were found in the sea off Brighton Beach. It raised many questions about their identity, what happened to them, and the state’s safety measures. After a long wait, it has been revealed that the bodies have been officially identified as Jane Adetoro, Christina Walters and Rebecca Walters. They reportedly died during the early hours of May 13, 2026. Meanwhile, investigators are now trying to piece together their final moments.
Who were Jane Adetoro, Christina Walters and Rebecca Walters?
According to Sussex Police, the three bodies belonged to three sisters, identified as Jane Adetoro, Christina Walters and Rebecca Walters, who were in their 30s. They had reportedly travelled to Brighton before the tragedy took place near Madeira Drive. In turn, their father, Joseph, issued an emotional statement through the police, paying tribute to his kids. In his words:
“Christina and Becky were more than daughters to me; they were my joy, my strength and the beautiful light that filled our family with happiness and love. Each of you was unique and precious in your own special way. Your smiles brightened dark days, your laughter brought comfort, and your presence made life more meaningful. Though your time on Earth was short, the impact you made will remain in our hearts forever.”
