Well, as per the initial reports, police were dispatched after a report involving a dispute between a man and a woman surfaced. However, Pearce fled from the scene before police could detail him and take him into custody. Later, police chased James’ vehicle, and he crashed near the intersection of Northwest 103rd Avenue and 66th Street. Soon, he was taken into custody and handcuffed. The woman he got into a dispute with was identified as Rickea Jackson, who is his ex-girlfriend and a player in the Women’s National Basketball Association.
