According to a report by India.com, Rohit had fallen in love with Prachi when he was shooting Bol Bachchan with her. The Rohit Shetty directorial had Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, and Asin among the other cast. The report by the publication mentioned that Rohit and Prachi came close and Shetty had also arranged for a romantic dinner for the actress in Jaipur.

The report further stated that Rohit and Prachi used to stay under the same roof. Allegedly, it was in 2005 when Rohit got married to Maya, a banker. Rohit, despite being married, was also in a relationship with Prachi. In the end, he went back to his wife, and reportedly, neither Prachi nor Rohit ever commented on their scandalous secret love life. The actress had made her TV debut with the show, Kasamh Se where she played the role of ‘Bani’.
