
The Predator of Seville (El Depredador de Sevilla) is a three-part true crime docuseries that premiered on Netflix on March 27, 2026. The series explores the investigation and eventual trial of Manuel Blanco Vela, a Spanish tour guide who operated under the alias, Manu White and was also known to some as the Prince of Seville. Under the veil of a friendly guide, Manuel carried out sexual assaults on young women. The Netflix Doc provides the latest update on the criminal’s whereabouts and that of his victims. One of the survivors, Gabrielle Nicole Vega, shared an account of her traumatic experience.
Manuel Blanco Vela’s crimes shocked the public

Manuel Blanco Vela was a Spanish tour guide and owner of the company, Discover Excursions. He was convicted of a series of sexual assaults committed against young women studying abroad in Spain. His primary targets were young American exchange students and foreign travellers visiting Spain, Morocco, and Portugal. In early 2025, Spain’s National Court found Manuel guilty of assaulting three American students, namely Gabrielle Nicole Vega, Hayley McAleese and Carly Van Ostenbridge.
