As for his personal life, he is married to Alison Smith, and they have three children. Arthur began his soccer coaching career as a defensive quality control mentor for the Washington Redskins, from 2007 to 2008 and then moved to Ole Miss in 2010, working as an administrative assistant. In 2011, he got his NFL coaching breakthrough when the Tennessee Titans welcomed him as an assistant coach.
