Netflix’s true-crime documentary, The Crash has dredged up the sensational case of 17-year-old (now 21) Ohio criminal, Mackenzie Shirilla. Recently, TMZ released a call recording between an imprisoned Mackenzie and her mother, in which she discusses finding a new love interest.
Who is the new love interest of Mackenzie Shirilla, Kevin?
In the recently released phone conversation, Mackenzie Shirilla could be heard telling her mother, Natalie that she was in love with a guy named Kevin. Notably, the date of the conversation hasn’t been mentioned, so it’s unclear how soon she moved on from her late boyfriend, Dominic Russo. Mackenzie, who is currently serving her time in the Ohio Reformatory for Women, told her mother that she didn’t really know Kevin, but she still fell for him. The Crash subject‘s didn’t even know how old he was, but it didn’t matter to her anyway as long as she had “fun” talking to him. Speaking about mystery man, Kevin, she told Natalie:
“I don’t know how old he is. I don’t even really care that much. I just love him. Like, he’s so fun to talk to.”
