Sara Ali Khan started her Bollywood journey alongside Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath. The actress has since then played several parts that have been substantial. Sara is the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. Her sibling Ibrahim Ali Khan was recently in the news for his big debut in Nadaaniyan alongside Khushi Kapoor. Sara was last seen in Akshay Kumar and Veer starrer Sky Force. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, we got a chance to speak to the diva on her feelings about the special day. She even revealed the one woman who has inspired her greatly.
Talking about the same, she said, “For me, every day is Women’s Day. My mother has been the biggest inspiration as I believe that her strength, grace, and resilience have shaped me into the person I am today. That’s why I have always chosen to play strong, independent women in my films, and I hope to continue bringing such inspiring characters to life. I also believe that strong women on screen inspire strong women in real life.”
Sara and her mother Amrita share a really close bond. In fact, Sara and Ibrahim are extremely tight too. The actress was recently snapped glowing with pride at her brother’s premiere night. She posed for the paparazzi with Ibrahim and even cut his birthday cake with the media. Sara will next be seen in Metro…In Dino alongside Aditya Roy Kapur. The project is expected to release later this year.
