Good news for all Yash fans! Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups is now gearing up for a theatrical release on June 4. Reports earlier suggested a second postponement might be on the cards, but sources close to the project have clarified that there is no truth to the rumours that are gaining momentum. The film’s promotional campaign is slated to kickstart soon and the film is expected to hit theatres in June as planned.

Yash plays the lead role in the movie and is scheduled to speak about Toxic at the global event CinemaCon in Las Vegas. The actor, who is portraying a hyper-masculine role in the global release, will also discuss his role as Ravana in Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana. This appearance marks the start of a new promotional phase for Toxic. Choosing an international stage for promotion is seen as a significant step, and Yash is currently ramping up for a massive global promotional tour.

Director Geetu Mohandas is helming the project, and she is fully committed to depicting the hero’s character in a bold way. The film stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria in key roles. Toxic is made in Kannada and English and will be dubbed and released in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil. Venkat K Narayana of KVN Productions is producing the movie. Fans are eagerly awaiting updates from CinemaCon, as the event is expected to give a strong push to the film’s visibility, particularly for the Hindi audience.
A teaser released in January introduced Yash’s character, Raya, in a gritty, high-octane graveyard sequence. However, it included a brief, sexually charged scene involving Raya and a character played by an actress inside a car rigged with a bomb. Toxic was launched in late 2023. From August 2024 to October 2025, it was filmed across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Goa, Thoothukudi, and Jaipur. Ravi Basrur, Vishal Mishra, Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah, and Arslan Nizami are its music directors.
