Indian cricketer, Yuzvendra Chahal’s divorce speculations started earlier in January when he unfollowed Dhanahsree from Instagram and deleted all their wedding pictures. Soon, haters started trolling Dhanashree and called her names. Following which, Dhanshree bravely called out people for their bad remarks. On the other hand, Yuzvendra, in a cryptic way, revealed that he has moved on. Now, after many speculations and rumours, the Indian spinner’s lawyer confirmed their separation.

In an official statement to the Hindustan Times, Yuzvendra Chahal’s lawyer, Nitin K Gupta, revealed that the couple has filed a divorce petition with mutual consent, and the case is in the Bandra court, Mumbai. The lawyer further stated that the matter is under judicial consideration, and they cannot publicly discuss it as it is legal. The official statement by Chahal’s lawyer can be read as:
“Mr. Chahal reached a settlement for obtaining Divorce by Mutual Consent with Mrs. Verma. A Petition for Divorce by mutual consent was presented before the Hon’ble Family Court, Bandra. The matter is currently sub-judice.”
