However, the shark bit his thigh by sinking its teeth in the flesh of the boy as he was trying to unhook it.
The teenager was on a boat with his father and two others, near Ossabaw Island, which was about 20 miles south of Savannah, on July 1, 2026. The shark was nearly six feet, revealed a shocked witness. They also revealed that he was sitting on the back of the boat and reading a book when he saw a boat coming towards them, and the child’s father was in a rush to seek help and first aid.
